I submitted 3 quotes simultaneously, they were the first to respond to the inquiry. I requested an in-person consultation, they were the first to come out. We discussed the job, they answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. They provided a timeline of 2-3weeks... Week 1 after contract I received a text of the railing rendering for approval. Week 2 I received a text that the railings were scheduled for next day installation!! The installation took a little over an hour - in and out. I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result! I have been working with Nigel going on 10 years now, he is my go to welder, metal fabricator, and mason. He always shows up on time and answers the phone when I call, which is a big deal in this buisness. I attached photos of a recent job he completed for me. Scraping old paint and rusting metal, repairing holes and adding new step treads. Looking forward to the next job!

I hire Nigel and his team to install some metal cable railings inside my home. I am impressed with there quality of work.

We gave Nigel $1250 as a deposit for railings. He never came by to measure, did not answer phone calls. When we requested our deposit back, he said he'd already ordered supplies, which was unlikely since he never saw or measured anything. He finally agreed to put our deposit back on our credit card. It has been 3 weeks and we have not seen our deposit. Fortunately our credit card company is supporting us. Do NOT do business with this company. UPDATE : PLEASE BE FOREWARNED: before signing a contract with this company, ask to see a couple of examples of his installations. It appears that his 'good' reviews are bogus.

We needed a railing installed on the front stairs of my parents' townhome quickly as my dad was coming home from a stay in rehab after a major stroke. Nigel was very responsive and worked quickly to get everything done as fast as possible. His work is beautiful and we are very happy. During the install the breaker tripped and my dad was without power while he was inside riding his electric chair lift on the stairs. The guys quickly came to his rescue so he wasn't stuck for long!! I'd hire Nigel again in a heartbeat.

I contacted Nigel to fabricate some railings for my father porch as he is getting older in age. I am really impressed with the quality of service he provided and would recommend his services.

I would not recommend him. We gave him a deposit in November 2022 in the middle of a remodel. We called him back in February 2023 to take measurements for the stair rail. He finally came in May with a stair rail that didn’t fit and was poorly made. It was dented and had drips on it. He worked with my husband for four hours on a Saturday try to get it to fit. He finally agreed to take it back to remake it and we still don’t have a stair rail as of August 2023. He doesn’t respond to most text messages or calls. We told him that we would like our money back or will be seeing him in small claims court.

We had a difficult time getting a welder to install the gate and Nigel was the only responsive, reliable welder that we encountered. We had a wood railing across our front porch. We removed it and Nigel installed a beautiful wrought iron railing. Super sturdy, looks great. Do not hire this guy ( Nigel Moore ) 2 months ago came out to get measurements and asked for half of the Project payment and never showed up or answer his phone again, If you want to get trapped and scammed give him a call, before payment will do anything for you after that good luck getting him back to work.

This is an outstanding business. Prompt and high quality service, as well as very courteous. They repaired my rusted front railings, at reasonable cost, within 24 hours of my initial contact. Later they installed a custom handrail inside our house, again sooner than expected and for reasonable charge.

Worst experience EVER with a "contractor." Although we repeatedly asked for a signed contract, we never received it. Nor was there ANY definition of what constituted a "breach" in this contract. We gave Design Architectural Welding and Construction (DAWC) ample time in notifying them of our dilemma with our deck construction and asked them to give us a refund for the deposit we paid. We couldn't even get DAWC to send us an invoice/receipt for items purchased for our project (which tells us they never even ordered the wrought iron). We want to let anyone know right away who is considering doing business with this company that they have unscrupulous ethics and deceptive business practices.

Unfortunately, there is no option for a Zero rating. Our advice to anyone checking out reviews is to dig deeper. Nigel is nearly impossible to track down, sent us a contract which looked very unprofessional and then hounded us for a down payment so he could purportedly purchase materials. He never sent the signed contract back even after repeated requests. We are currently seeking a total refund of our deposit since we advised him weeks ago to stop any further work. The man who recommended Nigel we fired because of shoddy workmanship. Nigel's admin assistant refuses to send us the paid invoice/receipt for materials ordered for our job (what does that tell you?). As retired folks, we find these unethical business practices abhorrent. DO NOT RECOMMEND. AT ALL. He had asked us to be sure we would tell at least 10 other people about him. Well, we just hope this Google review reaches THOUSANDS!

This guy saved me. I called him early, last Thursday morning. Luckily, he was already on his way to work. He gave me deal, as I was not prepared to kick-out almost 400, for a rim! He was very pleasant and very professional. And he was finished in minutes.

I was referred by a friend who had Nigel do some some work at his home. I asked Nigel to help me modify my custom dog crate. I wanted the escape back door to allow more air flow for warm days. I reached out to Nigel about adding a matching metal gate to our front porch. He completed the original metal porch railing during initial home contruction and was able to provide an exact matching gate. Very very good work, great price, and quick turn around. We absolutlely love it!

I contacted Niegel to install a wrought iron railing for my front porch. He came the very next day to give me an estimate and then he did the work on the very next Saturday. He does great work and provides great customer service. I would definitely recommend him. The only reason I didn’t give him 5 stars is that he called me to tell me he was on the way to do the work but it was 1 3/4 hours later before he actually arrived. Everything else was AOK.
